Lunch at Bodega Nanni

January 14, 2017

After two big days exploring the area around Cafayate, we went for wine tasting and lunch at Bodega Nanni. The Cafayate region is famous for Torrentes, a grape variety used in very fruity and refreshing white wines, so of course we had to try some!

The Bodega is in the centre of town and was one of the first in Argentina to achieve full organic certification. Set around a shady courtyard, we sat in for a light lunch.

It was a great way to end our time in Cafayate, I can't imagine these privileges will follow us all the way north to Peru and Bolivia, so we are making hay while the sun shines.
